Beautiful comfortable cottage and a lovely garden. It has its own waterfall and walk in the woods! Very quiet surroundings. View from dining room is great. Cottage is well equipped. You do need a car to get around, no public footpaths (apart from the one with the bull) or shops in walking distance.

Lovely cottage in private setting which was a delight. Tastefully decorated and it felt immediatly like home. It was cosy and warm which was welcomed as we had cold weather and snow. A minor point we would highlight is that a welcome pack of essentials would have been helpful basics like salt, pepper etc. We had a relaxing week and enjoyable week.

Excellent comfortable and cosy cottage. We had a lovely winter break along with Mollie our dog, visiting Kirkcudbright, Castle Douglas and other towns in the area to search for the best scotch pie. Going back in September and looking forward to sitting out in the garden.A GEM
