The Stillinghof
It is located in one of the most beautiful spots in Saalfelden: on a small plateau just a few minutes' walk from the town center.
Meadows and the Ritzensee lake lie at the foot of the farm.
The view of the Leoganger and Loferer Steinberge mountain ranges and the Steinerne Meer is simply breathtaking! The Stillinghof estate was first documented in 1549.
The farm has been owned by the Hartl family for over 100 years.
The farm has been run as an organic farm since 1992.
Today's Stilling farmer, Albert Hartl, took over the farm from his father in 2000.
The Hartl family: Albert, his wife Marita, and their three children Sebastian, Hannes, and Eva, run the farm as a dairy farm.
The Stillinghof livestock includes cattle, chickens, ducks, quails, goats, bunnies, and cats.
The feed for the Stillinghof cows comes from their own grassland areas at the Ritzensee. Farm Holidays In 1995, the Hartl family built "s'Zuahäusl," a house with two guest apartments next to the farmhouse. In 2019, the renovation and conversion of the old farmhouse began.
The two new guest rooms "Troadkasten" and "Rossgschirrkammer" and the cozy "Frühstücksstüberl" (breakfast room) were completed in the summer of 2021. Bed & Breakfast Rooms on the Farm The cozy guest rooms "Rossgschirrkammer" and "Troadkasten" exude a homely living atmosphere. Sunny Apartments at the Stillinghof In "s'Zuahäusl" – right next to the farmhouse – are the two cozy apartments Hochkönig and Schwalbenwand, each with a balcony, in a sunny, quiet location. Das Frühstück mit selbstgemachten Marmeladen, Frischkäse und Aufstrichen war köstlich. Das Zimmer inkl. schönem Badezimmer ist groß und sehr schön eingerichtet. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt, wir kommen wieder!
