Set on lovely grounds amongst the countryside on the western edge of the Brecon Beacons, is this charming barn conversion, Gelli Barn.
With a toasty woodburning stove, off-road parking and a spacious enclosed garden, this barn conversion makes the perfect family escape or break with friends.
Step inside the open-plan living space where you can find all you need for a self-catering break and a home-from-home.
The kitchen is well-equipped with a cooker and other appliances for your home-cooked meals, while the handy utility hosts the washing machine.
From here, dine as a family at the dining table for four, before sinking into the sofa to catch up on your favourite shows on the Smart TV.
In the cooler months, bask in the warmth of the woodburning stove, but in the warmer months, be sure to take advantage of the garden, with decking for alfresco drinks and dining and a lawn space ideal for games, and keep an eye out for the wild deer with their rare albino Stag.
As the day turns to night, freshen up in the shower room before heading to bed in either the double or twin rooms ahead of another day of adventures.
When you’re ready to get out and explore the area, you will find plenty to do within easy reach, along with a handful of pubs and restaurants in the nearby town of Llandeilo, situated on the River Towy, known for being one of the best sea trout fishing spots.
Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) is just a short drive from the cottage for any walkers and cavers of your group, with Carreg Cennen, Dryslwyn and Dinefwr castles all just a few miles away for the history buffs of the group.
There is a forest walk directly from the property to Carreg Cennen Castle.
The National Botanic Garden of Wales meanwhile is within easy reach and showcases an enormous variety of Mediterranean plants and houses the largest single span glasshouse in the world.
Visit Gower Peninsula, the first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, or head west towards Pembrokeshire with the beaches of Pendine, Saundersfoot and Tenby for coastal adventures.
Bring your loved ones to enjoy a break at Gelli Barn.
