Idyllic farmhouse in the fields of Skåne
"Östra Längan" is a very old half-timbered house that was originally part of the neighbouring farm Fleninge Gunnestorp and dates back to the end of the 15th century. Today, Östra Längan is a wing building in a very beautiful agricultural setting.
The house is situated in a beautiful, undisturbed and relaxing environment, together with our wild and tame animals in the agricultural landscape.
The building, which extends over two levels of about 220 square metres, has a large glazed veranda overlooking a garden and a pond with the entire cultivated landscape in the background. The holiday home has been recently renovated and the ground floor is fully accessible for the disabled. There are four bedrooms with a total of 8 beds, but with good possibilities for extra beds. In addition to the veranda, there is a living room with television on the upper floor of the house. The kitchen has a hob with oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. In a separate room there is a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
Outside the veranda there is garden furniture and a barbecue for cosy evenings.
We are located in the centre of the Kullahalvön peninsula. Helsingborg, Ängelholm and Höganäs are all between 15 and 20 kilometres away. Along the entire coast of the peninsula there are many small cosy old fishing harbours with quieter bathing spots. If you want something more lively, head to the beaches of the larger towns. The picturesque Kullaberg with the well-known seaside resort of Mölle can be reached in about 40 minutes. For golf enthusiasts, there are around ten courses in the immediate vicinity.
You can go for a walk on the farm, but if you want to go further, you can take one of the nature and cultural trails in the area. In Kattarp you will reach the old causeway that stretches to Höganäs and on to Mölle. The railway no longer exists, so it is well suited for both walking and cycling. The railway line passes the Svedberga hill, which is now a nature reserve. From the top, you have a breathtaking view of the landscape and the sea.
The farm operates an agricultural business with a focus on arable farming, so there may be a slightly higher noise level on the farm than normal from the end of July to the beginning of September due to harvesting work. The landlords speak German and English.
