This holiday home is located at the beginning of the famous inner path in Giethoorn. With the famous canals, cosy restaurants and picturesque thatched houses within walking distance, you are in the middle of the waterfront village of Giethoorn. The house is quiet and you will enjoy the peace and space this fine home has to offer. From the large, sheltered garden, you can hear the murmur of passing tourists. Enjoy the view of the mill and surrounding farmlands, or discover the most fairy-tale village in the Netherlands on foot. Of course, renting a boat is a must, or would you rather join a canal cruise? Whether walking, cycling or sailing, discover the beautiful surroundings of National Park Weerribben Wieden.

Layout
This holiday home is a fully-fledged independent house that is part of a country house. The holiday home can accommodate six to a maximum of eight people and offers plenty of privacy. The living room is spacious with a comfortable corner sofa, two-seater sofa, coffee table television and a wood-burning stove. The dining area has a dining table with chairs and a sideboard. The large kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher, fridge, combination microwave oven and an induction hob. The first bedroom is on the ground floor and has two single box-spring beds. There is an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower with shower chair and a washbasin. Ideal for people with mobility problems. There is also a separate toilet on the ground floor (in the hall). On the first floor you will find three bedrooms in total, including the fourth bedroom, which can be rented if necessary. All bedrooms are equipped with two single box-spring beds and ample wardrobe space. On the floor you will also find the second bathroom equipped with a shower, bath, washbasin, toilet and bidet. A freezer, washing machine and dryer are available in the house's utility room. The garden is located to the sides and front of the house and features two seating areas with plenty of greenery. In the yard near the holiday home there is enough space to park your car and you can park your (brought) bikes if you wish.

Particularities
Please note that if you come with seven or eight people, you can use the fourth bedroom. When staying with six people, this bedroom remains locked, If you would also like to use this room with 6 people, this can be done at an additional charge for the entire stay.
You can wash and dry yourself, for purchase of an extra set of kitchen linen, bath linen or bed linen you will pay a surcharge.
Wood for use of the wood stove should be provided by yourself.
It is possible to bring your own boat, which can be moored unattended in the area or at a marina for a fee. You can park the trailer at the house free of charge.
Setting off fireworks is prohibited at this property due to the many thatched roofs in the immediate area.

Sail through the water village, discover the cosy terraces and restaurants, and visit museums. Explore the surroundings by taking a nice walking or cycling tour through the beautiful park and discover the unique flora and fauna the park has to offer. Rather do something active? Then take to the heights at klimbos Paasloo. Fun for children! If you would like to visit a big city and go shopping, you can go to Steenwijk, Meppel or Zwolle.
