Location: Bürchen, situated above Visp in the Rhône valley. Good location: ski run from and to the house. Chair lift, valley run each approx. 400 m. Quiet location in a chalet settlement on the upper edge of the village with a beautiful view of the mountains of the Rhône valley. Small shop (also bread rolls) 350 m. Pizzeria, restaurant 500 m each. Picturesque village centre with old Valais barns, restaurants, supermarket 2 km.
Beautiful winter hiking trails start in the immediate vicinity of the chalet. Toboggan run and 5 km LL high-altitude trail in the ski area. Many excursion destinations in the immediate vicinity: Zermatt 40 km, Riederalp with Aletsch Glacier 30 km, Leukerbad with thermal baths 35 km. Car access up to 20 m, then stairs to the chalet. Tip for families: Children up to the age of nine ski for free in the Unterbäch and Bürchen/Törbel ski areas (as of winter 2022/23)!
House: Beautiful chalet with two flats. Cosy, rustic chalet ambience with wood panelling throughout the house. Internet free of charge via W-Lan. Electric heating and wood-burning stove (wood included). Hot water via 300 litre electric boiler. Balcony with seating furniture. 1 reserved car parking space, further parking space on request (subject to availability).
