The Finca del Sur, a unique holiday dream, is located in the middle of the nature reserve, in the sunny southwest of the island of La Palma.
The individual furnishings of this finca, the beautiful pool and the overall ambience will quickly make you a friend of the house.

The Finca del Sur was taken over by a new owner in autumn 2024 and has since been extensively renovated. However, there will still be changes in the near future, but all of them will exclusively benefit an upgrading of the house.

With the Finca del Sur in the southwest of the island of Palma, near Fuencaliente, we offer you a very special holiday home.
Once you have spent your holiday at Finca del Sur, this finca on La Palma will certainly be one of the houses where you will want to spend your holiday again.
Finca del Sur is a detached holiday home. It is surrounded by a plot of approx. 3000 square metres with a well-kept garden.
The access road to Finca del Sur is well tarred, so that the house can be reached without any problems even on the rare rainy days.
Although hardly ever necessary, there is a Roman heater in the bathroom. From autumn 2025, a wood-burning stove will also be installed as heating in the living room. Until then, heating is not necessary anyway.
The house is located approx. 300 m above sea level. The unique view of the Atlantic Ocean and the unforgettable sunsets that you can enjoy from the house, as well as from the pool, is a holiday in itself.
The terrace below the house, which was christened "Atlantic Cinema" by the regular guests, the rocking bed and many other seating areas invite you to linger on the finca.
You can also start your hikes directly from the finca.
For example to the volcanoes Tenegia or St. Antonio, where the "Restaurante La Casa Del Volcán" is located. Or to the south coast to Faro, with its salt pans, a restaurant and the old lighthouse with a small museum.
The fishing village of Puntalaga with two small beach restaurants. Between Faro and Puntalaga is the Playa Nueva beach. Playa de Zamora with its bathing beach and freshwater showers as well as a small fish restaurant from which you can enjoy wildly romantic sunsets. Everyday necessities can be found in the supermarket in the village of Las Indias, approx. 500 metres away. On the way there you will find a local tapa bar.
In Fuencaliente, the village on the main road LP2, you will find several supermarkets (including a SPAR), two Italian pizzerias, the "Restaurante" and a restaurant. Pizzerias, the "Restaurante Era" (good meat dishes), a nice bakery/cafe, a Panaderia Zulay Palmerian bakery, the oldest bar on La Palma Parada - Bar, with its island-wide known, traditionally prepared almond biscuits...... and much more.
Several hiking trails through the pine forest start above this village.
Las Indias can be reached in a few minutes with your hire car. More distant places, such as the island's capital Santa Cruz de La Palma or the village of Los Llanos on the west side, can only be reached by hire car.

Due to the largely unspoilt, extensive grounds in the nature reserve, the finca can only be rented for a maximum of 2 adults.

The magical interplay of the beautifully landscaped garden, the tangible expanse of the Atlantic Ocean and the lovingly furnished house give Finca del Sur a unique charm that is hard to resist.
