WELCOME TO THE STRONEGGERHOF Our farm has been awarded **** in the Premium category. Our farm is located in the Lavanttal Valley, the "paradise of Carinthia," at the foot of the Koralpe holiday area and is the ideal starting point for hikes, nature adventures, mountain biking, horse riding, swimming in the lake, and much more... FARM LIFE: All the happiness in the world lies on horseback! Having a horse as a friend is a wonderful experience that children are most likely to have on vacation. Here, they playfully learn how to handle the animal calmly and without fear. Our guests receive a voucher from us that they can redeem during their vacation with Ponykerstin. Courses can be booked before arrival. A taster session is possible on site. Please see our website for further information. There are also the goats, which are always very attentive. In spring, there are usually young kids. The chickens scratch in the sand, and in the morning, fresh breakfast eggs are in the nest. The cats "Feli" and "Jimmi" catch mice, and the kittens "Selma" and "Sylvester" love to be petted. Young cattle graze peacefully in the pastures. The ducks "Ernie" and "Bert" and "Bert" and "Ernie" waddle around the corner. By caring for and providing daily care for the animals, children playfully learn how to handle them calmly, responsibly, and without fear. All animals need to be cared for and fed and need children's gentle hands to care for them. We welcome any help in the stable. We also want our little guests to feel completely at home with us. Our farm offers countless opportunities to discover new things every day. We don't have sterile play equipment, but we do have plenty of open space for playful exploration. A sandpit, a swing, a paddling pool, a mountain bike, and various ball games are available on site; anyone who wants to can even ride on "Fridolin," the tractor. And NEW: the Fassl House, where children can be children to their heart's content. FAMILY HOLIDAYS IN WINTER: Ski rentals, ski school, children's programs, sleigh rides, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing are available. The main slopes are snow-covered and open throughout the season. From child-friendly toboggan runs to black runs, everything is available. The Koralpe family ski area is just a 10-minute walk from the farm to the lift station. A ski bus also runs seasonally, and the stop is not far from the farm. In the family-friendly ski area, you'll find cozy huts for a break and refreshment. The cozy, fully equipped apartment Karawankenblick (65sqm) offers space for up to 6 people.
