Resting on the grounds of an idyllic small holding within the quintessential English village of Chacombe, the lodges themselves sit either side of the Northamptonshire Oxfordshire county lines.
Boasting an inviting open-plan living space, this attractive wooden lodge is perfect for couples looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Spend cold winters nights snuggled up on the plush sofa as you enjoy a quiet night in front of the TV around your firepit, or embrace your stunning surroundings and views of the tranquil lake as you indulge in a dip in the hot tub. Delight in drinks at the outdoor dining space, take a seat on the floating pontoons sipping on a refreshing glass of bubbly as you watch the sun set on another incredible day, before grabbing a quick wash in the shower room and laying your head to rest.
The local pub dates to 17th Century and It is a short 5 min walk up the footpath just outside the gates of the site, As well as its warm welcome and its specialty ales it offers excellent locally sourced freshly made food either eat in or take away.
The public footpath that passes through the entrance to the site is part of the Jurassic way which follows a seam of Jurassic limestone starting in Banbury through Northamptonshire up into Lincolnshire.
When ready to explore the very best that the Midlands has to offer, head for Banbury, Warwick or Stratford and see some to see some of the finest local landmarks.

Acorn Lodge is a charming ground-floor lodge that can be found resting within the village of Chacombe near Middleton Cheney, Northamptonshire. Home to one double bedroom in a studio-style layout, this dwelling can sleep a total of two guests. The bedroom is served by a shower room and the interior is complete with an open-[plan living space with a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area. Outside there is a garden with an outdoor seating area and a hot tub. Off-road parking is available. Acorn Lodge is a wonderful setting for a relaxing retreat to the East Midlands. Note: This property does not accept any children under 18 years old - this includes infants. . Fuel, power, and a starter pack for the woodfired hot tub are included in the rent, additional wood is available to purchase on site, or guests can bring their own, bed linen and towels are also provided.

Such a beautiful place, high standard accommodation. Our weather was great so we could sit outside and enjoy the views. A haven for nature and wildlife around the lovely lake. Plenty to do in the surrounding areas, even a visit to Bicester Billage which was well worth it.

This property we stayed at was one the most amazing stays, total relaxation. From when we arrived to our little lodge to the facilities- even our welcome from the owner - was just so smooth and to the most highest standard- honestly I can't recommend this place enough, even though I dont really want to share it

Really great and relaxing weekend. Clean and modern accommodation, really friendly staff and appreciated the buggy to help us bring bags into the cabin on arrival. Would stay again.
