Don't be fooled by the outside – Melrose is a deceptively spacious riverside cottage with plenty of room for six and a wonderful position directly on the River Thurne.
Set on the north-east riverbank towards Martham, it's a great choice for families, friends and especially keen anglers looking for a peaceful Norfolk Broads escape.
With generous main-river frontage, garden seating and passing boats to watch, days here are all about slowing down and enjoying life beside the water. A great spot for keen anglers Fishing is a real highlight at Melrose, with plenty of main River Thurne frontage to choose from during the open season. There's also a large storage shed with a dedicated bait fridge, making this a particularly practical base for a fishing holiday. If you're hiring a boat during your stay, there's room along the main river frontage for mooring.
