Middle Gable, The Old Hall is a little piece of Cotswold history, a beautiful holiday home sleeping five guests across two well-appointed bedrooms, with a family bathroom and ground floor shower room.
Once part of a grand stone manor house, the main residence of the Lord of the Manor and one of the oldest residential buildings in Bourton-on-the-Water, it was later divided into individual cottages, with renovations in 1914 helping to create the picturesque row seen today.
Centuries of character remain woven throughout the home, from stone mullion windows, exposed beams and a magnificent fireplace to the remarkable original dovecote built into its front façade, an exceptionally rare feature for a residential property earning it the prestigious Grade II* listed status.
Traditional charm is thoughtfully balanced with contemporary styling and modern comforts, while outside a tranquil garden offers space for al fresco dining.

This was an amazing place to stay for easy walking access to Bourton! Love the historical feel of the property and there is loads of space. The main bed is quite comfortable and really big. The stairs were also easy to navigate. Do be sure to check your spam folder for communication as we couldn't find it until the last minute, luckily the host was quite gracious. Thank you for a great stay!
